The team building days we run in nature are focused on trust and collaboration. They’re about giving people the space they need to re-engage with each other, without being separated by office doors,laptop screens and hierarchical organisational charts. The woods are a safe, neutral space where everyone can feel free to be themselves and talk, far away from email and Slack notifications and workplace barriers – real or imagined. Working together purposefully, on a meaningful practical task, allows you to develop a deep level of understanding and trust. You can use that understanding to develop practical solutions to the difficult, and often messy, challenges that inevitably occur in fast-moving environments and hierarchical organisations. The result? Teams that know how to collaborate, share ideas, talk and trust each other – the true foundation of a high-performing team.

Nadgora Resort is an ideal destination for team building, both because of its capacity (46 people), restaurant and parking space intended exclusively for its guests, and because of its excellent location. Positioned only 5km away from the town of Žabljak it sits on the very edge of the Durmitor National Park, isolated from heavy traffic and mass tourism.

Our resort is located at the crossroads of numerous hiking trails. They are intended for guests of various levels of physical fitness, therefore providing the perfect opportunity to achieve a common goal. The Black Lake (Crno Jezero), located at the foot of mountain peaks, offers quieter activities such as boat riding or picnics. Rafting on the Tara River, through the deepest canyon in Europe, is an ideal adventure that requires teamwork, coordination and communication.

In addition to physical activities, teams can participate in educational tours that include visits to katuns, learning about local traditions, as well as tasting local products such as cheese and prosciutto in our resort's restaurant.

Team building can be organized at any time of the year, regardless of weather conditions. During the winter, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing are two ideal team disciplines that we can organize in the immediate vicinity of Nadgora Resort, regardless of the physical fitness of the participants. In addition to summer and winter activities, spring and autumn activities are equally interesting. Picking medicinal herbs, wild fruits and mushrooms provide unforgettable experiences that also encourage teamwork.
